AD Kitchens is both family owned and family run. We focus on providing a professional yet relaxed service to all our customers. We do not believe in the ‘hard sell’ approach taken by a lot of kitchen companies. Whilst we pride ourselves on the expert technical and practical knowledge we provide to our customers, we also strive to retain a down to earth, personal, pressure-free approach.
Our sister company, Aspull Domestics was founded in 1985 by Stephen and Carole Simm, joined some years later by their sons Alex and Jonathan. After becoming part of Euronics in 2005, the company went from strength to strength, becoming a leading supplier of white goods in the Wigan area.
In 2017 a decision was made to expand the business further, delving into the world of fitted kitchens. After extensive research and planning, they found the perfect supplier, Nobilia, Europe’s largest manufacturer of luxury German fitted kitchens. Alex and Jonathan took the lead in managing and developing AD Kitchens, which has now become an established and successful business. Alex’s wife Ellis, who is part of the Aspull Domestics sales team, manages the ordering of appliances for AD Kitchens and Alex and Jonathan’s sister, Emma, recently joined the AD Kitchens team with a focus on marketing. So when we say it’s a family run business, we really do mean it!
Owners
Carole and Stephen are the owners of both AD Kitchens and its sister company, Aspull Domestics, founded back in 1985. They have gradually built the company from a small, village appliance repair shop in Aspull, to a large Euronics store and a leading supplier of white goods in the Wigan area. Excellent customer service has always been their focus and it was imperative that this ethos continued into AD Kitchens.
Manager and Designer
Alex has been part of the AD team for over 13 years. Having originally worked as an appliance repair engineer, his excellent technical knowledge is an asset for providing practical advice. Alex also has a passion and a natural flare for design. He specialises in preparing kitchen designs and will work with you to create your dream kitchen.
Manager and Designer
Jonathan has been part of the AD Kitchen team for over 11 years. Having also previously worked as a repair engineer and white goods installer, Jonathan possesses extensive technical experience, which is perfect for providing the sound practical advice required when designing your dream kitchen. Jonathan can also provide excellent advice when choosing the best appliances to suit you and your new kitchen.
Sales Assistant
Ellis has been part of the AD team for over 8 years and joined the AD Kitchens team when it started in 2017. Ellis also works as part of the Aspull Domestics appliances sales team and so specialises in recommending and ordering the right appliances to suit you and your new kitchen.
Marketing Assistant and Administrator
Emma originally started as a Saturday girl at Aspull Domestics at the age of 14. After 7 years she moved on to alternative employment, but has now returned to join her brothers as part of the AD Kitchens team. With a focus on marketing, Emma runs the social media accounts and deals with administrative tasks.
